All Things Arctic Blog

This is a public education blog I write in English. It covers a variety of Indigenous, historical and cultural topics from all over the Arctic. The original emphasis was on Arctic exploration discussed in a critical manner but that has broadened. Some recent entry titles are: A Polar writer’s paradise; Polar labour: Jack Bursey; The Worst Journey in the World; the many meanings of Arctic exploration; A delightful photo from the Antarctic; and Cooking in the Arctic.
