Research Professor Timo Koivurova has been named as the new director of the Arctic Centre (University of Lapland) for the period 2016-2020. Koivurova, who has led the Arctic Centre's Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law also serves as lead of the UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Law. Announcement (in Finnish).
