Location: French-Norwegian Center for Humanities and Social Sciences (Programme franco-norvégien), Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, 190, avenue de France, 75013 Paris.

The purpose of this facilitated discussion is to discuss future regional, national, and international funding opportunities for interdisciplinary Arctic climate research and develop concrete ideas for such research. 

All disciplines across humanities, social and natural sciences, art, health, technology and others as well as representatives of research, government, civil society, business and others are encouraged to attend.

Capacity is limited to 20 participants. Those interested in participating are invited to submit a 100 word statement on research interests and a max 2 page cv to Professor, Barents Chair in Politics Rasmus Gjedssø Bertelsen, UiT: Rasmus.Bertelsen@uit.no. Deadline is the 21st of November. Invitations will be issued on the 27th of November.

The meeting will start at 10.00. UiT will offer lunch at the FMSH. The meeting ends at 18.00 and is followed by a dinner at one’s own expense (diners must indicate their wish to participate)

Access to the French-Norwegian Center is open and independent of delegate-status at COP21.
