Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) invites Norwegian higher education institutions to apply for funding in cooperation with institutions in Canada, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia and the U.S. within the High North Programme. UArctic Research Area aims to increase the research cooperation between the UArctic member universities and organizations by improving their opportunities for research funding and facilitating cooperation with international science organizations.

UArctic Thematic Networks leaders gathered together in Bodø, Norway, for their annual program team meeting. This year the aim was to brainstorm potential topical Arctic issues and gaps in knowledge for joint research projects.

In cooperation with several institutions, Aarhus University will host the Matchpoint conference on security, resilience and sustainability of the globalized Arctic region. The conference takes place on November 12-13, 2015 in Aarhus, Denmark. Proposals and abstracts can be submitted until June 15, 2015.
