The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2016 will be held 12-18 March, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Early registration is open until 20 December 2015. Late registration ends 12 February 2016.

The European Polar Board (EPB) Strategy Action Group would like to solicit input from all EPB stakeholders regarding future strategic direction of the European Polar Board. The last date for providing your input is Friday, 30th of October 2015.  

On-line course “The Changing Arctic” presents a range of topics from the forefront of Arctic science including landscape formation, permafrost dynamics, glaciology, land-atmosphere links, ecology on land and in freshwaters, and implications of change for the People of the North and the global community.

EUREKA invites proposals for projects under its Eurogia2020 cluster. Funding supports multidisciplinary, innovative research and development projects on energy technologies. The call closes 23 November 2015.

The Nordic Joint Committee for Agricultural and Food Research has opened a call for support of workshops, seminars and conferences in the agricultural and food sector. The deadline for this call is 9 November, 2015.


The Nordic Culture Fund invites applications for its research project grants. These aim to further cultural cooperation between Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden as well as the self governing areas of Åland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The call closes on 2 November 2015.
