Last September Nord university conducted a digital tabletop exercise called Nuclear Emergency Preparedness Exercise-2020. This was developed in cooperation with the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA) and Joint Rescue Coordination Center Northern Norway (JRCC NN).

The conference brought together experts from all around the world. The event was held online on 19 November and was part of joint activities of three projects of UArctic Thematic Network on Teacher Education.

The joint Interreg Nord project Arctic 5G Test Networks is conducted by the CWC research unit at the University of Oulu, Finland and Luleå University of Technology, Sweden.

The Goals of the scientific work for 6G communication include helping to fulfill United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and stopping the increasing digital divide.

The University of Oulu coordinated networking project “Indigenous and non-indigenous residents of the Nordic-Russian region: Best practices for equity in healthy ageing (NORRUS-AGE)” received its successful online start on November 4, 2020.
