Arktikum Science Centre

Arktikum Science Centre is the only Arctic science centre in Finland. It has permanent exhibition Arctic in Change and temporary exhibitions and it is operated by the Arctic Centre, University of Lapland.

Arktikum House hosts two exhibitions: Arctic science centre (by the Arctic Centre) and provincial museum of Lapland (by the city of Rovaniemi). Arktikum science centre illustrates many features of changing Arctic and it also gives visibility to the research done at the Arctic Centre. It is a place for learning about the Arctic.

Arktikum House is an iconic architecture landmark in Rovaniemi and it has over 100 000 visitors annually.
