R/V Pâmiut, Greenland Institute of Natural Resources
R/V Pâmiut is primarily used for open-water surveys in Greenland waters.
R/V Pâmiut (1084 GT) was built in 1971. The vessel is mainly used for open-water investigations of shrimp and Greenland halibut. The vessel is a stern trawler furnished with wet and dry laboratories as well as computers, hydrographical equipment and other equipment relevant to collection and processing of samples.
The vessel has a crew of 12 people, and houses up to 16 scientists/technicians.
