Engineering Centre

The Center is an educational and expert organization acting in the sphere of industrial safety with means of non-destructive testing lab, destructive methods lab, electric lab.

The Centre’s core works are:

  • Precertification training in the sphere of industrial safety
  • Certification of welding operators of 1,2 grade
  • Making all types of expertise related to industrial safety and operation of dangerous industrial objects
  • Making all other types of expertise within the NArFU’s license
  • Conducting electrical measurements with means of electrical lab

The Centre includes the following labs:

  • Laboratory of non-destructive testing (Infra-red camera FLIR P660, ultrasound thickness meter DM-5DL, electromagnetic thickness meter АКСА1270, ultrasound inspection equipment (defectoscope) АКСА1220 Anker, magnet-anisotropic scanner of mechanical  strain)
  • Laboratory of destructive methods (hardness meter MIC-10  (for testing steel and alloy hardness), tensile testing machine WDW-200E, fluorescent analyzer Innov-X Delta, optical emission spectrometer ARC-MET-8000
