Looking for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Sámi culture and Lapland's pristine wilderness? Join us for a day filled with breathtaking nature, authentic traditions, and warm hospitality!

Our journey begins with a 17-kilometer motorboat ride along the scenic Lemmenjoki River, taking you deep into the stunning Lemmenjoki National Park. As we cruise through the river canyon, you’ll witness the striking mountain ridges rising from the water, an awe-inspiring sight that sets the tone for the day.

Upon arrival at the majestic Ravadas Falls, you’ll experience the raw beauty of nature as the cascading water echoes through the wilderness. Take in the serene yet powerful energy of the falls before we gather around an open fire for a delicious lunch break. Enjoy a hearty bowl of traditional reindeer soup, followed by coffee and homemade cake—a true taste of Lapland’s flavors.

As we relax by the fire, you’ll be immersed in the rich heritage of the Sámi people. Listen to captivating stories of reindeer herding and Sámi traditions, and experience the hauntingly beautiful Sámi yoik—an ancient form of song that connects deeply to the land and its people.

On our return to Lemmenjoki, the experience continues with a special reindeer encounter in an authentic Sámi setting. Get up close with these gentle Arctic animals and learn about their importance in Sámi culture and daily life.

To conclude the day, we visit Kaija Paltto’s Felt Art Studio – Ateljee Huopapirtti, where you’ll explore a unique exhibition of handcrafted felt textiles and reindeer leather accessories. Each piece is a reflection of Sámi artistry, inspired by nature and cultural traditions. Browse the collection and take home a one-of-a-kind souvenir as a memory of your journey.
