Occurring every three years, the event was originally scheduled to be held in Yellowknife this June, though it was postponed due to a high risk of drought and wildfire in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The event was moved to November 3 – 5 and will now take place at the Halifax Convention Centre.
Hosted by the Canadian Society for Circumpolar Health, the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research, the Northwest Territories SPOR Support Unit, and the International Union for Circumpolar Health, ICCH18 is the world’s premier circumpolar health event. The congress aims to facilitate knowledge exchanges between leaders, decision-makers, researchers, service providers, and communities to aid the improvement of health in circumpolar regions.
Early bird registration for the event is now open and can be completed on the ICCH18 page.
