The conference is part of the official program of the Norwegian Chairship of the Arctic Council (2023-2025).
The Arctic Emergency Management Conference aims to strengthen cooperation on emergency prevention, preparedness and response in the Arctic by providing a venue for exchanging and sharing information, capacity building,
discussing cross-cutting thematic areas, co-production of knowledge and learning, as well as networking and establishing
and strengthening partnerships.
The conference applies an approach to emergency prevention, preparedness and response encompassing all types of risks and hazards in the Arctic region.
Arctic Emergency Management Conference 2025 will provide an opportunity to participate in its scientific session with poster and oral presentations.
Submissions for poster and oral presentations are welcome to the Arctic Emergency Management Conference 2025 under the conference themes or other Arctic emergency prevention, preparedness and response relevant topics.
Topics include:
- Search and rescue in the Arctic
- Marine Environmental Response in the Arctic
- Radiological and nuclear preparedness in the Arctic
- Wildland Fires in the Arctic
- Arctic Communities
- Health Preparedness in the Arctic
