This report showcases the world-class science that is being conducted by PCSP-supported researchers from a range of disciplines in the natural and social sciences. Their work is essential for developing an improved understanding of the past, present and future of Canada and its Arctic.
Over these three years, the PCSP supported 207 federal government projects, 121 Canadian universities and 42 Northern organizations, among other institutions. This report highlights some of PCSP’s partnerships, ongoing efforts to support Indigenous research and priorities, and showcases research focused on permafrost, the protection of Indigenous language and way of life, impacts of forest fires on water quality, and more.
