During the workshop, participants will learn from National Science Foundation Office of Polar Programs (NSF OPP) Program Officers, how to write a one-pager to summarize an idea to pitch to a funding agency.
Part 1 – 20 June 2024, 10:00-11:00 a.m. AKDT (12:00-1:00 p.m. MDT/2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT).
In this first workshop, participants will join NSF OPP Program Officers to better understand the benefits and opportunities of developing a one-pager, ask questions about the writing process, and sort themselves into a small group of other early career researchers to write a one-pager together.

Part 1.5 – 21 June to 10 July 2024
Convene asynchronously with previously assigned group to complete the drafting a one-pager exercise that participants will submit to the program officers to review by 10 July, that they will provide feedback on during the next session. Please note that those who attend the first session will be sorted into groups, and each group will draft up one one-pager.
Part 2 – 17 July 2024, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. AKDT (12:00-2:00 p.m. MDT/2:00-4:00 p.m. EDT).
In this second session, participants will receive feedback from program officers on their one-pager and will discuss areas of growth for the group in the future.
