With PermaIntern, TNP wants to promote educational experiences through internships in a wide range of professional settings where competence in permafrost may be of importance. As a means to ensure high standards in pedagogics and permafrost expertise, the program includes a certification process for supervisors and during this workshop the first four supervisors in the program were certified. The process for future certification of supervisors was also decided on and anyone interested in becoming a PermaIntern supervisor is welcome to contact PermaIntern via the project’s pilot website: Home | Permaintern
The next steps for the project will be to certify the first internship hosts and to launch the pilot internships for spring 2024. Contact PermaIntern if you want to participate!
