“We are thrilled to once again host the Northern Lights event with our friends and colleagues,” says Andy Turnbull, Northern Lights Co-Chair for Labrador. “Businesses are eager to network with colleagues and event participants can expect another exciting high-quality program and exceptional cultural experience. Northern Lights 2023 is a must-attend event.”
The 2022 event was postponed due to COVID-19 venue capacity and travel restrictions, as well as pandemic impacts to Chamber members, businesses and event partners. The Committee continues to work closely with public health officials and is currently developing a collaborative event operations plan in keeping with the interests of our remote, northern and Indigenous communities. The Northern Lights Committee is encouraged by the reopening of our economies and interest from businesses across Canada and abroad interested in exploring new growth opportunities.

“Northern Lights is a showcase of the incredible development potential of Canada’s Arctic and Northern region,” says Clarence Synard, Northern Lights Co-Chair for Nunavut. “The event highlights the experiences of living and working in the North and the many opportunities for partnership. We look forward to again offering a venue for partnership, collaboration and growth for our attendees.”
Event registration will open in August 2022. Further updates from the Northern Lights Organizing Committee can be found at www.northernlights.events.
