A new publication by the Danish Department of Science Counseling Group on Environment and Health, includes Christian Sonne-Hansen, Rune Dietz and Charlotte Hviids, publication regarding the holistic health issues of the Arctic wildlife and human life in the Arctic, “One Health” from Arctic Research Centre at Aarhus Universty.

On December 6 2018, AAU Arctic hosts a Polar Research conference at the Aalborg University department in Copenhagen. The event includes lectures, panel debates and discussions, the conference also offers an opportunity to socialize and network both on sea and on land. For full program click here.

The Model Arctic Council (MAC) took place at the same time as the Arctic Council meeting at University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland. The MAC was arranged by the University of Lapland. The students eagerly took part in discussions and engaged in debate as where they part of the real Arctic Council.

The Arctic Yearbook 2018  was launched on November 1, 2018 during the Model Arctic Council event that was held at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland. The theme of the yearbook is Arctic Development - in Theory & in Practice.
