Open Seminar on Indigenous Education in the Arctic will take place on 10th of June in the Sámi University College, Norway. The seminar is organised by UArctic Thematic Network Verdde: University Center for Mobility in Indigenous Education.

Starting in spring 2016 the Arctic Technology Centre of the Technical University of Denmark offers the Arctic Semester in Extreme Engineering, an opportunity for master-level engineering students to experience the unique environment and the challenges of engineering north of the Arctic Circle. The History Department of the University of Oulu will organize interdisciplinary symposium “The Barents and the Baltic Sea region: contacts, influences and social change” in Oulu in December 2015.  The aim of the symposium is to analyse the characteristics of the Barents and Baltic Sea region from interdisciplinary perspectives.
