During the two-day research seminar, the aim is to discuss the various approaches to deliberative and responsive governance and analyse various cases where the deliberation over rights and responsibilities in natural resources management and policy takes place. The seminar seeks to bring together researchers and research that engages with questions related to responsive and deliberative governance of natural resources management and conservation as well as research studying environmental conflicts and various environmental planning interventions and impact assessment.

If you are interested in presenting, send your abstract (max 500 words) to Paula.Inkeroinen@uef.fi by 27 March 2015. The final deadline for the accepted papers will be 10 April (max 8000 words).

The seminar is free of charge, however, participants are responsible for their travelling and accommodation.
