•Sustainable housing and constructions under Arctic conditions that fulfil the local demands and cope with climate
•Eco-friendly technical infrastructure such as water, energy, drains etc. and backup systems which ensure continuous supply
•Urban planning that facilitates social equality, positive intercultural interactions, sustainable living, recreational activities while supporting public involvement
•Rapidly deployed new urban structures associated with major industries and temporary settlements create a series of technical challenges relating to living and working conditions
•Development of communities and attractive study programmes within technology and planning in order to fulfil the demand for qualified local expertise

Invited speakers
- Karl Otto Ellefsen, Architect, Professor, Author and Rector at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, Norway.

- Jan Gehl, Architect, Author and Professor Emeritus, Urban Design, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Oral presentations and poster presentations will be selected based on the abstracts we receive. Discussions will follow each presentation, and we hope to have a lively and engaged debate on all topics.
