In addition to engagement on research planning, UArctic's chair of Council and Vice-President Indigenous are leading sessions on 'Indigenous Knowledge Transfer' and 'Indigenous Paradigms in Science and Education.' UArctic joint efforts to support outreach and dissmenation activities are also being showcased through a presentation on the Arctic Virtual Learning Tools project, which supports the development of an online learning environment and digital library for the benefit of UArctic members and students. The Thematic Networks on Geopolitics and Security and on Local and Regional Development will also be making presentations on their respective research and outreach activities.

While in Montreal, UArctic staff will also be visiting the Université du Québec à Montréal, which is applying to be a member of the University of the Arctic.
