From December 5th until the 12th, the WWF tent will host a range of programming – some permanent, some changing daily – focused on the Arctic, the impacts of climate change, and possible solutions. A mix of science and art, politics and culture will be used to raise public awareness.

For example, on Monday December 7th, the day is designated ‘young adults / youth day’, and WWF would like to have various presentations from youth (including Indigenous youth) who’ve experienced the Arctic, and from young researchers who can provide information about their special research experiences in the north. The idea here is to provide information so that the next generation can see for themselves the extent of climate change, and possible solutions.

Interested parties and individuals are asked to contact Clive Desiré-Tesar, coordinator of WWF Arctic’s presence at the Copenhagen COP.
