The EUCEN 2010 organising committee welcomes proposals for workshops which present innovative and creative ideas and approaches in lifelong learning under the following themes:

  • Lifelong learning, universities and socio-economic approaches (e.g. meeting the educational needs of excluded groups through higher education; lifelong learning and social problems, unemployment, etc).
  • University and its role in facilitating innovations in lifelong learning at local, regional or international level – theories, methods and approaches. Educational relationships and teachers/learners.
  • Lifelong learning and the environment (e.g. psychosocial welfare, climate change, sustainable consumption, ethical business practice, etc.)

Notification of acceptanbe by: 15 February 2010

The European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN) is the largest European multi-disciplinary association in University Lifelong Learning (ULLL). The network was founded in 1991 and is registered in Belgium as an international non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation. It has 212 members from 42 countries.
