The project is part of Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window – mobility scheme (EM ECW) that aims to enhance the mobility of researchers, students and academic staff between the higher education institutions in EU and in the countries outside EU. In the Triple I project, the funding is allocated for the mobility of 246 people from Russia to a university in an EU country or vice versa.

The application period for degree students and post-graduate students as well as the staff at the University of Turku begins next week. In Russia, there are 10 possible host institutions. The amount of the grant is 1000-2500 EUR/per month. An additional travel subsidy is also granted.

During the same application period, Russian degree students, exchange students, post-graduate students and post-doctoral recently who have recently been selected or who are planning to apply to the University of Turku and other European partner universities can apply for grants for their study or research exchange. The programme also funds further training and personnel training in Europe for those who have completed their degrees in Russia and entered working life.

If your research group is planning to invite new Russian researchers EM ECW Triple I offers you one more opportunity to finance their stay. Please note that inter-European mobility between the partners is not allowed.
