Buryat State University will host the Contemporary Problems of the Ethnoecology and Traditional Nature Management conference in Ulan-Ude, Russia, on December 6 and 7 2007.
Featuring both plenary sessions and session reports, the conference will look at the problem of interaction of nomad ethnoses and environment and the importance of preserving ethnic integrity and cultural-economic peculiarity of nomad ethnos as well as their experience of rational nature management.
