INTERACT Station Catalogue

The INTERACT Station Catalogue is a complation of research stations that are part of the International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic (INTERACT). The currently 70+ stations in this pan-Arctic network are located in the Arctic and northern areas and adjunct northern alpine regions.

CNNRO Facilities

The Canadian Network of Northern Research Operators (CNNRO) is a network of research support facilities providing specialized technical services to academic, government, private and international scientific research sectors. The member facilities range from oceanographic research vessels and long-established research institutes and observatories to seasonal field stations and un-staffed remote monitoring installations. The facilities are located throughout every major ecological region in Canada’s North. The page allows to filter CNNRO Facilities by a particular Research Hinterland by selecting from the choices in the drop-down menu.

Isaaffik Portal

Isaaffik Arctic Gateway is a on-line portal connecting Arctic research, education, consultancy and logistics within the Kingdom of Denmark. The idea of ISAAFFIK is to inspire and facilitate cooperation, synergies and creativity among universities and knowledge centers in areas of arctic research, education, consultancy and logistics.

AFRED

The Atlantic Facilities and Research Equipment Database (AFRED) is an open access, online, searchable database designed to increase the use of specialized research infrastructure in the Atlantic region by connecting potential users with the facilities that host the equipment. The database includes brief descriptions of major pieces of research equipment available for use by external researchers, as well as contact information to connect directly with the host facilities.

GEOSS Portal (global, including the Arctic)

GEOSS Common Infrastructure (GCI) includes all Global Observation System of System (GEOSS) resources, including Earth Observation data (satellite, airborne, in situ, models), information services, standards and best practices. The information can be searched, discovered and accessed by scientists, policy leaders, decision makers, and those who develop and provide information services across the entire spectrum of users. The GEOSS Portal is the single Internet gateway to the comprehensive data produced by the GEOSS community.
